Committing suicide is a crime in the US not so that we can punish the depressed, but because, if it weren’t, it would be illegal for the police to enter a home to save someone they suspected was about to kill themselves.

There has to be reasonable belief that a crime is currently being committed or is about to be committed for the police to enter private property.

This had confused me for a long time and this explanation makes so much sense!!

In Canada we have “the right to life” because we’ve punned the charter of human Rights. This means we actually have the right to kill ourselves if that’s what we want.

However, it is illegal to help someone kill themselves. So if there is any reason for police to suspect someone is going to attempt suicide, any reason at all, they need to intervene otherwise it will be considered “helping someone attempt/complete suicide”

This is what a REAL rape prevention campaign looks like

All the awards.

DO ME A HUGE FAVOR AND REBLOG THIS!

This is perfection in a campaign

I love how they included a situation where a guy could’ve gotten raped. People don’t seem to realize that males get raped too. It’s less common, but it happens. That is what sets this campaign apart from others.

21+ full-figured actresses playing 14/15/16 yr old characters rly fucked up my self-esteem and self-image when i was young and made me v insecure

quit casting adults as young characters esp in shows w/ young target audiences?? man it makes undeveloped lil girls feel inadequate that they don’t look like grown women when they’re baby teens
